We Welcome you to enjoy beautiful Avalon North. This year (2008) is going to be a banner year for ice bergs, according to the NL Tourism Bureau. There are also several communities (Holyrood to Brigus) that are celebrating “Come Home Year”.

Shirley

Shirley is a true Newfoundlander born in the Placentia Bay area. She is retired  and spent her time as a design specialists, executive secretary and administrative assistant to several large companies. She knows the Island and is a great source of information to make your travels enjoyable & memorable.

 

 

 

 

 

Bernie

Bernie is 1/2 Newfoundlander as his mother is from Seal Cove and his father was from the USA. He  retired after spending 30 years as a Police Officer in the USA. He is a veteran of the US Military (USN & USMC)

Bernie is a licensed Newfoundland & Labrador Fishing Guide.

 

 

 

Duffy (all 18 pounds)

Duffy is from Maine (USA) and has traveled throughout the USA & Canada with his owners in a 5th-Wheel. He thinks he is a watch dog but is too friendly to be taken seriously He is also retired and enjoys eating dog cookies, chasing ducks off the front lawn and welcoming visitors.
